PUMPKIN! One of the things I LOVE about fall!

I LOVE all things PUMPKIN! I think it came from my mother!
Like Pumpkin rolls, pumpkin cinna rolls, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin bars, pumpkin pancakes, ALL THINGS pumpkin!

Well normally I make Sugar cookies for Halloween! but not this year! I made.........Yup you guessed PUMPKIN COOKIES! :)
There sooo yummy! You wont just be able to have one! There the dear hubby's favorite! I only make them from October through Christmas!  so there a special cookie! :)

Are you ready for the recipe??? Really Good!
It's going to be loaded with step by step pictures :)

Here are the ingredients you will need! *Notice I shop alot at Walmart! It's the cheapest around town here!

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour * I had to use 3 cups instead of 2 1/2 cups of flour! i will show u why in pics*
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup 100% Pure Pumpkin
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cream cheese frosting... That recipe will be in another post! Sorry!

Preheat oven to 350

                                                                                                                                                                                               It should look like this.

Now for the BEST part! Add the Pumpkin!

Mix well until it looks like this!

Then add the Egg and Vanilla!

And mix well!

Now time for the Dry ingredients!

Now mix together until well blended.

Now it should look like this!

Now time to grease the cookie sheet!

And if you have a nifty little scooper like this! *I LOVE PAMPERED CHEF!*

You will want to use it! If not just 2 spoons will work just fine!

Ever since I first started baking I've always done a dozen cookies per a sheet ! See like this!

Now time to put them in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes~ * 17 minutes were PERFECT for mine!

Now this batch was a flop! they still tasted GREAT! but they didn't rise! So I fixed that by adding more flour and it worked perfect! they looked like this for the second batch!

Plump little pumpkin cookies!
Now I'm going to frost them with a cream cheese frosting tomorrow afternoon Sorry i didn't get to that part tonight! the night kinda was gone before I knew it!
So Enjoy!

I'm sorry if you get the directions mixed up This was the first time I have done a post like this so it could be a bit confusing! I did it just the way I did it at home tonight though so it should be great! If I get a chance tomorrow I will post just the recipe and ingredients in a post for you all!

Have a very blessed weekend everyone!

Is this week going by fast or what?

I mean gosh don't get me wrong I'm very happy that this week has gone by fast!
I've gotten alot done!
I have some things to mark off on my Christmas to do list! :) Woo hoo!
But I also have things to add too!
Yesterday was great! sorry I didn't get posting a blog! But the dear hubby came home sick!
So I had a lazy yet not so lazy day! Most the time when I say I've had a lazy day It usually means I got NOTHING DONE! well that wasn't the case for yesterday! I took all my stuff for my felt ornaments into the living room and the little dude brought his toys out there too, And we the three of us lounged and watched movies all day! It was great! and in the afternoon and into the evening I was able to get ALL my felt ornaments done! well most of them! some of them I thought looked ridiculous so I just tossed them! I had got the felt REALLY cheap at Joann's so it wasn't a big loss!
So I will be marking them off my list today! Sorry for no pictures! Possibly sometime this afternoon? Hopefully!
So here is a update on the Christmas to do list! :)

A bit of my life!

Hi everyone!
Thought I would try to get a good post in before folding laundry!

Today was a good day! went by super fast!
As some of you might know I watch kids! Kinda like a daycare I guess you could say? very small I only watch one right now that is full time I just lost my other full time kid last week!
But it's a ton of fun! today I didn't have The little dude until 2:30 So I went and did some shopping with my mil at Costco and then went and did the rest of my other grocery shopping for the stuff that was on sale!

Snuck into Joann's too :)
Did get much just a couple tiny hole punches :)
oh and some paper and a couple Christmas fat quarters! :)

I came home got everything put away and then had to go get my nieces from school! Then we all came home and I worked on laundry and they played with the pup!

I made dinner and cleaned the kitchen up! The little dude got picked up around 7ish and the girls and dear hubby are playing the wii well I'm taking my down time to blog  :)

I have so many Christmas projects needing to be done it's crazy! I'm slowing attacking them!

The baking season is slowly starting at my house! I LOVE to bake! I'm getting better at cooking! but I LOVE to bake!  There will be recipes and hopefully pictures of everything I make between now and Christmas!

Well I guess I need to get that mound of laundry that is clean! yet not folded!
Sorry about the randomness!
Hoping to get more exciting postings soon!
happy readings!

New Blog!

So for the past year I've used Word press for my blog! Well Almost a year now!
I haven't been the best at posting either! It's been a busy year!
And I never had readers on there! And it was really confusing! So I decided I would create a Blogger Blog and see how it goes! Plus it's WAY easier to follow people too! :)
Hope you enjoy reading my blog!
